моя итоговая цель — понять как заказчику объем и сложность реализации моей задачи по категоризации изображений. Оценить порядок времени и стоимость реализации.
Технических деталей нужен самый минимум.
Я сам айтишник, по самым верхам с темой знаком. Есть ряд вопросов, которые я был хотел прояснить консультацией, и сэкономить себе время и усилия. -

Могу изложить лишь своё видение данной задачи (например, в виде файла описания, если данный формат удобен). Лекция в какой-либо коммуникационной среде наверное не получится.
Что возможно:
В описании изложить следующие моменты.
1. Описать какой алгоритм следует рассматривать в данной задаче.
2. Что необходимо будет сделать для подготовки Dataset и куда стоит адресоваться для его подготовки?
3. Указать приблизительные сроки и стоимость (точно может обозначить лишь исполнитель).
4. Предложить варианты поиска исполнителей по задаче (пилотный проект и разработка).
5. С какими навыками следует искать исполнителя под задачу.
6. Возможные трудности.
Если устроит подобный формат и содержание, а также объем изложенной информаци, то можно далее обсудить реализацию. Всегда есть шанс предположить, что это не устроит и все это и так очевидно. На данный момент не могу оценить полноты представлений по данной теме у заказчика.

С одной стороны помощь специалиста при принятии решения - хорошая идея, но если вы знаете примеры выполнения своей задачи, зачем вам консультация на Разработку, если более актуальна консультация на поиск и эксплуатацию готовых решений? Советую без крайней необходимости не лезть в разработку, если, конечно, ваша задача действительно имеет примеры решений.
