магазин работает на webasyst, но товарные позиции в основном заполняются в ексель файле и потом импортируются

title исправили, там до недавнего обновления фреймворка нельзя было приписывать его. Но сейчас уже норм.
target="_blank" - может быть, а может и нет, нужно смотреть карту кликов

target="_blank" позволяет оставить посетителя на текущей странице товара (на которую он пришел изначально со своими целями).
Дополнительная инфа будет открываться в новом окне и не даст человеку "потерять" то, за чем пришел.
P.S.
Поинтересуйтесь % людей, которые на ссылках вызывают контекстное меню - "Открыть в новой вкладке/в новом окне".
