I would like someone who has experience in already successfully acquiring clients for a web development agency. You need to be really good at writing proposals.

Currently we working almost with our local clients, and as a most of our competitors want to grow and thats why we decide to start our agency at Upwork. We are a high skilled team with a great portfolio, however we start at Upwork from scratch and looking for sales profi. Our new website will be lunched 01/15/2018
This position is for long term, you will be part of our team. Also you should be able to join our agency here at Upwork.
The budget I set is for a first 10 sent proposals.
We`ve set this limit (10 proposals) only for testing purpose and to find the right person for this role. After probation period our new team member will be allowed to send up to 40 proposals / month and will be paid 10$ for each proposal. After we will get the client, you will be invited to manage this project for 20% from total price.

Главный вопрос- чего вы хотите достичь, и какие результаты увидеть за 10 бидов на UpWork?
Чтобы получить релевантного заказчика нужно:
а) правильно оформленный аккаунт компании,
а для этого необходимо разработать USP(утп) и VP(пц), для чего, в свою очередь, необходимо вникнуть в ваш опыт. А это занимает время.
б) как минимум заполнить портфолио.
Не просто положить скриншоты с надписью "Сайт для компании ХХХ", а грамотно рассписать что, как и почему.
Вобщем, джо того как писать нужно потрудится над маркетингом профиля как компании, так и ее руководителя (это еще пункты "в" и "г")
… Плюс, не факт, что за 10 бидов чтото "выстрелить".
Тут есть и фактор удачи.
