Meta pixel / CAPI / GTM eCommerce tracking

Modern eCommerce project in the home clothing and linen segment.

A technically strong specialist is needed to set up correct Meta tracking, improve event quality, and optimize the site for stable ad performance.

Project tasks

1. Setting up correct ViewContent

 • Set up ViewContent on all product cards and categories.

 • Trigger immediately upon page load, without delays and scroll triggers.

 • Transmit correct content_ids (SKU or product ID).

 • Check for duplicates and correct operation in Test Events.

2. Setting up Conversions API (CAPI)

 • Set up CAPI via server, CMS, or ready-made module.

 • Transmit extended user data (hashed SHA-256):

email, phone, IP, userAgent, preferably first name/last name/city.

 • Transmit event_id for deduplication of Pixel + CAPI.

 • Ensure that fbp and fbc are correctly read after clicking from ads.

 • Goal: increase Event Match Quality to 8–10/10.

3. Technical optimization of site speed

 • Reduce JavaScript weight.

 • Optimize images (WebP/AVIF, lazy-load).

 • Enable browser caching, compression (gzip/br).

 • Goal: improve LCP and Speed Index.

🔧 Candidate requirements

 • Experience setting up Meta Pixel + Conversions API (at least 2–3 projects).

 • Confident use of Google Tag Manager.

 • Understanding of eCommerce event tracking.

 • Ability to work with SHA-256 data hashing.

 • Understanding of event deduplication (Pixel + CAPI).

 • Basic frontend optimization skills (JS, lazy-load, caching).

 • Experience with Shopify / WordPress / OpenCart / custom-CMS (depending on the platform) is preferred.
