Migration of www.sapappy.co.il from WooCommerce to Shopify
500 USDWe are looking for a skilled and experienced developer with at least 5 years of experience in Shopify to transfer the CMS from WooCommerce (WordPress) to Shopify for our website www.sapappy.co.il . The task includes all stages of the transfer, customization, and testing to ensure a smooth and high-quality transition. The project is expected to be completed within 5 working days.
Project Requirements:
Backup and Preparation:
- Full backup of the current site on WooCommerce.
- Review the current site structure and document all important features and data.
Shopify Setup:
- Create a Shopify account and set up basic store settings.
- Choose a Shopify theme that matches the current site's design or one that fits our brand.
Data Migration:
- Export products, customers, and orders from WooCommerce (using appropriate export tools like Cart2Cart, LitExtension, or WooCommerce export tools).
- Import data into Shopify (using Shopify's CSV import tool).
- Transfer additional content such as blog posts and pages.
Customization:
- Customize the Shopify theme to match the look and feel of our brand.
- Set up necessary apps and integrations (eg, SEO, analytics, marketing, etc.).
Testing:
- Thoroughly test the migrated site to ensure all functions work as expected (checkout process, contact forms, and other interactive elements).
Go Live:
- Set up our domain on Shopify.
- Configure 301 redirects from the old WooCommerce URLs to the new Shopify URLs to maintain SEO rankings.
Post-Migration Monitoring:
- Monitor the site for potential issues and continuous improvement.
- Optimize meta tags, alt texts, and other SEO elements on Shopify.
Required Skills:
