Provide the ability to perform warehouse operations (pallet assembly / placement / movement of goods) using mobile devices (PDA / smartphone / tablet) to enhance employee mobility, work speed, and reduce the number of errors.
Current status:
All warehouse operations are performed using PCs.
Employees have to constantly move between their workstation and the warehouse.
There is a lack of mobility when placing, moving, and accounting for goods (a laptop must always be near the employee to maintain the connection between the scanner base and the scanner).
There is no visual confirmation of the correctness of the performed operations (what exactly has been placed / moved and where).
Required result:
Implement a mobile solution (via PDA) that allows basic warehouse operations to be performed directly in the warehouse.
