Unfortunately, it was not possible to establish cooperation with this client, despite the fact that he is a decent person who treats with respect and - in my case - with understanding of the tragic circumstances that prevented me from sending the completed project by the deadline. However, a force majeure occurred, and I lost almost all the work - 85% of the material was lost because everything was stored on a laptop that was destroyed during the shelling of our building - which is actually the residential building itself and the office space where our content studio is located - almost everything in our studio's premises was damaged - furniture, equipment, paper data, - as well as partially the premises themselves.
Of course, I made proposals for restructuring the project, and I also provided explanations regarding my readiness several times, while agreeing to pay 50% of the penalty from the initial project amount - as compensation from me for the delay. But the client made a decision that forced me to try to recreate the entire volume of material in a few days - and the volume was such that it would have taken at least 2 weeks to complete, and if it weren't for the shelling and then clearing its aftermath, I would have managed to submit the work before the deadline.
