Set up GA4 + Google Search Console for a WordPress site
25 USD There is a website on WordPress: https://kemijskahitna.eu The website is small: homepage + 8 service description pages, without an online store and complex structure. The domain is new, I set up SEO and launched indexing in Google today.
The current task is to correctly collect statistics:
how many people visit the website;
from which traffic sources;
by which search queries the website is found in Google.
The GTM container (GTM-W8LL9SLC) has already been created and is probably installed, but this is not critical — you can either use it or do without it.
I need the freelancer to demonstrate my screen in a call format:
Guaranteed to set up correct data collection in GA4
Checked the current installation (via GTM or directly).
If simpler and more reliable — set up direct GA4 tag installation on the website (via a plugin or code insertion), without unnecessary complications.
Ensured that my visits to the website are visible in the Realtime report in GA4.
Set up and linked Google Search Console with the website and GA4
Confirmed ownership of the website in Search Console.
Added and submitted sitemap (XML sitemap) to Search Console.
Submitted the homepage and main service pages for indexing.
Linked Search Console with the current GA4 property.
Checked that data on search queries starts to be collected (in the Search Console interface and/or in GA4).
Work format
Workonly through demonstration of my screen(Zoom / Google Meet / etc.). You tell me what and where to do - I click or insert.
I do not share access to my Google account and hosting. All actions in the interface are performed by me, under your guidance.
Readiness criteria
In GA4, visits are visible in Realtime when I visit the website.
In GA4, reports on traffic sources (Traffic acquisition) are available.
A resource for the website has been created and confirmed in Search Console, data has started to be collected, and it has been linked with GA4.
