We want to optimize the performance of our squid proxies, as right now with traffic increase, proxies became slower.
We're looking for an experienced sysadmin/devops freelancer, who able to tune our squid speed to an acceptable level.
Our current setup is a docker container with compiled squid4-4.14 inside
(./configure --prefix=/usr/local/squid --enable-http-violations)
For squid.conf - tried both, with or without cache, but need someone experienced to take a look.
The server we're using:
Intel Xeon E3-1230v6 - 4 c / 8 t - 3.5 GHz / 3.9 GHz
32 GB RAM
We attached 100 IPs to the server. Ideally, our server can host 256 IPs and if you're able to set up high-performance squid with such amount of IPs let's discuss.

Ориентировочно затрат 40+ часов. Необходимо пересобрать контейнер с сквидом с добавлением параметров улучшающих производительность и добавить систему мониторинга для оперативного слежения за ситуацией.
Также есть смысл выполнить разделение нагрузки по разным контейнерам
В ставке примерно 40 часов по 20 долларов США за час

настройка безопасности следующий таск будет, сейчас надо чтобы они выдерживали трафик -
я только со сквидом работал поэтому его и начал использовать
Если ты ручаешься что другое ПО будет лучше тогда без проблем, только что сервер купили новый на нем можно тестировать будет, завтра сутра когда в Канаде ночь можно добавить на сервер пул ИП и протеститьвать
напиши правильные названия ПО о котором ты говоришь -
мне важно чтобы прокси были elite и не шарили ИП пользователя
