Task 1 Load the ”rabbit vs turtle.csv” data file as a Pandas dataframe, and remove rows that have missing data entries.
Task 2
a) Use Numpy to separately fit a 5th-degree polynomial to the rabbit and turtle data.
b) Display the resulting polynomial equations.
Task 3 Using Matplotlib, create a single graph that overlays the original rabbit and turtle input data and the resulting fitted polynomials (i.e. 2 datasets and two functions should be shown in total).
Task 4
The following equation* is used to compute the mean of a function:
a) Using Sympy, compute the mean velocity for both the rabbit and turtle using Equation 1 from 0–60 minutes.
b) Briefly comment on how these values compare to the arithmetic means of the original input data.
Task 5
a) The data set provided has missing data from 41-45 minutes due to a technical glitch in the tracking technology. Use SciPy to interpolate the velocities to generate data for the missing minutes for both the rabbit and turtle.
b) Create a single graph that overlays the original data and interpolated data.
c) Create and display a Pandas Dataframe (i.e. a table) that reports only the interpolated velocity of the missing minutes.
