64 USD The server is "live" locally, but is not accessible from outside (from the internet). On the correct Plesk panel port 8443, we receive 502 Bad Gateway. We need a specialist in Linux + Plesk to find the cause and restore internet accessibility.
What is happening
We have been renting a "dedicated" server for a long time, and the provider does not offer admin support.
The Plesk panel should be accessible at https://<our-IP>:8443, but from outside we see HTTP 502.
Websites/panel are not accessible from outside (ports 80/443/8443).
Locally, the services appear to be running.
There is no SSH access.
What needs to be done
Network diagnostics and cause of 502:
Check routing/public IP/NAT/ACL with the provider/on the edge equipment.
Check Linux firewalls (nftables/iptables, firewalld, Plesk Firewall), fail2ban, possible DDoS filtering.
Check the reverse proxy setup (nginx) → backend (apache/httpd or php-fpm, Plesk sw-cp-server).
Check SSL/TLS and SNI on 443/8443 (certificates, chains, Let’s Encrypt auto-renewal).
Fixing accessibility:
Achieve stable access to the panel on :8443 and websites on 80/443 from the internet.
If necessary — correct reconfiguration of Plesk services (for example, sw-cp-serverd, psa, nginx, apache/httpd, php-fpm).
Report and prevention:
Briefly describe the cause, changes made, where backups/configs are located.
Provide recommendations: monitoring, alerts, backup access (IPMI/KVM/Rescue), backup policy.
