Technical specification for the refinement of product card templates (PLATI.MARKET / GGSEL)

It is necessary to prepare a universal template for the design of digital product cards. The template should be suitable for any games without the need to redo the layout.

What needs to be done

1. Preserve all existing text

The text must remain editable (not rasterized), without loss of quality.

This applies to:

• the store name (top panel);
• the text in the Steam Gift block;
• the text in the three lower informational banners;
• ratings, reviews, and other text elements.

All inscriptions must remain vector or text layers for further editing.

2. Remove the game image

Completely remove:

• the game background;
• the game title;
• any elements related to a specific game.

The central area should become universal.

3. Create a frame for the game image

Instead of the game image, a fixed area (frame) should be created where I can simply insert any art.

Requirements:

• the frame must match the current proportions of the central block;
• the image must be inserted strictly within the frame;
• the image must not extend beyond its boundaries (use a mask/Clipping Mask);
• it should be enough to replace the layer with the image, without the need to adjust anything manually;
• the frame should be invisible in the final image (used only as an insertion area) or have a thin decorative outline if necessary for the design.

4. Template quality

• PSD (or Figma) with all layers.
• All elements organized into groups.
• Text editable.
• Use Smart Object for the game image.
• No loss of quality.
• The template should be suitable for any games (Ghost of Tsushima, GTA V, Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, etc.) — just replace the image.

Conclusion

The output should be a universal template where only the game art changes, while all other design, text, and formatting remain unchanged. This will allow for quick creation of product cards for PLATI.MARKET and GGSEL without additional layout refinement.
