You have a very interesting logo. Brand recognition is key. Therefore, I suggest keeping the shape as it is. You need to work on the colors because in this logo, many colors overlap each other, making the logo look "dirty", like from the 90s. I would advise keeping 2-3 colors and either using a gradient or placing them sequentially (like Google). If you have a vector of this logo - that would be great!
