Это Joomshopping (Компонент магазина). Значит Joomla у вас, скорее всего 3.х версии.
Нужно написать модуль оплаты с нуля, или установить из имеющихся готовых? -
Не готов сказать . Лучше с готовых. Может сначала обновить нужно версию Joomla

Предпочтительно конечно да. Обновить Joomla до 4 и Joomshopping до 5 и потом уже устанавливать оплаты. Если для Украины, то есть готовый модуль оплаты LiqPay (Приват24).

Нужно смотреть действующий сайт. Если используются какие-то расширения, которые не поддерживаются в Joomla 4, то нужно будет искать им замены/аналоги. Можете в личку скинуть адрес действующего сайта, чтоб можно было примерно прикинуть сроки и стоимость?

в рамках жумла 2.5-3 обновления были бесплатны.
на жумла 4 все расширения переписаны и их надо приобретать отдельно.вы можете найти меня в телеге если будут вопросы. или в личку тут.
