Описание текущей ситуации
Для выполнения различных задач компания использует ряд серверов, которые развернуты на виртуальных машинах в Центре Обработки Данных (ЦОД).( “Приложение №1. Список серверов и их характеристик”).
Решаемая задача
Необходимо уменьшить стоимость владения ИТ инфраструктурой, за счет оптимизации ресурсов текущих серверных мощностей, без потери производительности. Ресурсы серверных систем должны использоваться по максимуму, без существенных ресурсов на масштабирование. При увеличении числа задач/пользователей систем и т.д., будет производиться изменение конфигурации серверов.
Техническое задание:
- Получить данные о работе каждого из серверов за период свыше 96 часов работы.
- Оценить работу каждого из серверов как в период пиковых нагрузок так и в период простоя.
- Разработать оптимальную конфигурацию системы серверов с учетом поставленных перед серверами задач.
Например:
- перенос ПО с одного сервера на другой и уменьшение общего количества виртуальных машин;
- изменения конфигурации отдельных машин с учетом показателей нагрузки
- установка наиболее оптимального и эффективного ПО для выполнения поставленных задач.
- и т.п.
- Определение предполагаемого снижения стоимости эксплуатации инфраструктуры.
- Определение стоимости работ по реализации мероприятий предложенных в п.3.
- Исполнитель обязан не разглашать информацию и данные, который будут предоставлены Заказчиком для выполнения данного пректа.
- Все работы необходимо произвести без остановки производства, т.е. без остановки процессов, которые поддерживаются работой серверов указанных в списке.
- Исполнитель не имеет права самовольно перегружать сервера и вносить изменения в конфигурации существующих систем, без утверждения их заказчиком.

Для того чтобы хорошо и правильно оптимизировать текущую инфраструктуру нужно сначала вникнуть в процессы проиходящие "внутри" фирмы, понять что нужно, а что лишнее, из того что есть в наличии. К тому же даже "слепая оптимизация" очень зависит от конкретных условий в каких работает сервис(читай сервер). По этому "на пальцах" все что Вы просите, не расчитать. Если Вам нужно просто пройтись по серверам и настроить их по "best practices", так это немного другая задача.
