I am looking for an artist to collaborate on a project of an evolutionary scale made in the style of paleoart.
The idea is to create an illustrated scale of the development of life on Earth based on the example shown in the image "scale for example," but to do it to scale as shown in the image "template for new scale." Currently, the area for the future drawing is simply filled with color. The final image should be 297 mm in height and 4600 mm in length.
In the file "final format of the new scale," I illustrated how I envision the final version - a bit of text at the top, a ruler at the bottom, and the rest of the space occupied by a drawing in the style of what is depicted in the file "example of drawing style." Although the style can be different, this is just how I see it at the moment.
The project budget is indicated approximately, as I am not sure how long such work may take. I plan to break the work into stages and pay for them separately, depending on the time spent. Also, most likely, a large number of revisions will be required, as at the moment I still do not envision all the details that should be in the final image. Naturally, all revisions will also be paid for according to the time spent. It seems to me (although I am not sure, as I am not an artist) that the work may take a lot of time, from several weeks to several months. If possible, please include your estimate of the time to complete the work in hours and days in your response. For your information - I do not have strict deadlines; if you want to dedicate an hour a day to this project for several months, that is quite acceptable for me.
Also, if possible, indicate how the drawing will be digitized. Will it be an initially digital image, or will you create it on paper and then scan it?
I have additional materials illustrating what should be in the final image, and I will provide them later, at the beginning of the project.
