Technical Assignment: Parsing Products from OLX → Generating Descriptions → Creating a File for PROM.UA

Project Goal

To obtain an automated tool/script that will parse products from specific sellers on OLX, completely update their descriptions using ChatGPT, add search keywords, and create a ready file for bulk upload to Prom.ua.

Executor Tasks

1. Product Parsing

Collect products from specific OLX sellers (links to sellers will be provided).
The following information is required:

• Product name

• Photos (all available)

• Price

• Category

• Description (original, required only for reworking)

• Specifications, if available

• Seller's city/region

• Ad ID

2. Automatic Description Generation (ChatGPT / LLM)

After parsing:

• Completely replace the description with a new professional description generated by ChatGPT.

• The description must include:

  • Full product specifications

  • Advantages

  • Application

  • Style: sales-oriented, structured, without unnecessary fluff

⚠️ Important: DO NOT use OLX text, only fully reworked descriptions.

3. Search Keywords

For each product, add at least 10 search keywords generated automatically.

4. Creating a File for Uploading to Prom.ua

At the output, the executor must provide:

• Ready CSV/XLS/XLSX file, fully compatible with Prom.ua import

• The file must contain the following fields:

  • Name

  • Category

  • Price

  • Photos (links to files or the files themselves, by agreement)

  • Description (generated by ChatGPT)

  • Specifications (structured)

  • Search tags (10+ items)

  • Article / ID

  • Any additional fields needed for correct import

5. Technical Requirements

• The script can be written in Python / Node.js / PHP — by agreement.

• The work must be fully automated (script or program).

• Ability to easily initiate re-parsing.

• Preferably, the ability to update prices/availability.

• The system must be able to handle from 50 to 5000 products.

6. Work Result

The executor must deliver:

1. A ready file for uploading to Prom.ua

2. A script or program that performs the entire process

3. Instructions on how to run/update

7. Deadlines and Budget
