1) Project Description
We are a US-West-Coast-based fintech company building the foundation of a new platform. The founder has already written the basic infrastructure in Google Sheets and Apps Script, which now needs to be evolved and extended. The immediate focus is automating financial data workflows inside Google Sheets. Over time, the role will expand into building sophisticated financial tools involving JavaScript/Node.js/React, while Google Sheets will remain a key part of the system. This is an opportunity to join at the ground floor, work directly with the founder, and help shape both the platform and future team.
2) Tech Stack
• Core: Google Apps Script / Google Workspace APIs (Sheets, Drive, Docs)
• Future: JavaScript, Node.js, React
• Optional (good to have): Python for data transformations and integrations
3) Existing Team
You will be the first developer hire besides the founder. The founder has created the initial infrastructure and will work closely with you. Over time, you’ll help expand the technical team.
4) Start Date
• Immediate — ready to start as soon as we find the right candidate.
5) Involvement
• Part-time: ~15–20 hours per week
• Must allow for regular overlap with US West Coast hours (PST/PDT) for communication and collaboration.
6) Expected Cooperation Length
• Long-term collaboration. As the platform grows, this role will evolve into more advanced development with opportunities to help shape and grow the team.
