Вот самое удивительное в людях то что они изначально хотят гору ненужного функционала и дизайна и при этом считают что чем больше излишиств на сайте тем он лучше будет привликать клиентов и казаться богаче. Но суть сайта в том что бы достигать поставленной цели а не радовать глаз посетителя и тем самым вводя его в заблуждения "чего же я сюда зашел и как здесь разобраться?", и всегда говорю заказчикам "чем проще сайт в использовании и чем меньше разный новогодних штучек, тем проще посетителю на нем и сайт достигает своей поставленной цели", и заметьте, это не только я так думаю, так работают заказчики из США, их вообще не волнует новогодняя елка - всегда просят простоту как в пользовании так и в дизайне, как говорят "у нас люди ленивые, и им нужно получить желаемое в несколько кликов а не разбираться с сайтом и уж тем более не мешать им принимать нужное решение разными анимациями, текстами, и разноцветной палитрой сайта". И за свою практику я с этим согласен, и не раз видел как напичьканый сайт стоит , а самый простенький приносит прибыль в первые дни его жизни. Но у наших Украинцев да и Россиян есть дилема, они хотят и рыбку съесть и не надуться, то есть много разных причуд на сайте затрудняющих работу сайта в целом и в том числе каждого посетителя отдельно да и при этом получать хорошую прибыль от сайта. Потому изначально всем и не нравится простенький сайт с хорошим функционалом только под задачу, изначально им хочется красок для себя но не кто не задумывается про простого обывателя да и если еще этот посетитель в возрасте от 30 лет , которому уже совсем не интересно это все, ему нужен конкретный результат от сайта а не трата массы времени на разбирательство и оценки разный причуд на сайте. Вот вы, делали сайт, скажите честно про что вы думали и какая была цель первоначальная , удивить посетителя какими то красивыми, на ваш взгляд, штучками на сайте или же получить прибыль ? Только честно ответьте одним ответом а не "Показать что наш сайт хороший, красивый, мы такие солидные но и конечно прибыль )". Выберите один ответ для себя, только хорошо подумайте прежде чем отвечать и повторюсь"Честно без лукавства".

Как правило задача проекта это прибыль, привлечение новых пользователей, конверсия. Нужно исходить из поставленной задачи и делать проект именно под эту задачу и ничего более, всё остальное - ненужный мусор. Не стоит добавлять те вещи на сайт, которые не коррелируют с вашей задачей.
