1. Diagnosis
• Checking in Google Search Console — what exactly Google found (malware, deceptive content, harmful download)
• Scanning files through Wordfence/MalCare + manual checking of suspicious files in wp-content, in the root, in themes and plugins
• Checking the database for injections in wp_options, wp_posts, wp_users (often hiding unknown admins and scripts)
• Checking hosting logs — how exactly they accessed

2. Cleaning
• Deleting all found malicious files and database entries
• Reinstalling the WordPress core + all plugins and themes from official sources (to remove backdoors)
• Checking .htaccess, wp-config.php for changes
3. Closing the attack vector
