Рекомендую для начала обзавестись нормальным сервером. VPS на Hetzner стоит копейки, до 10$ в месяц, дальше сделать адекватный конфиг сервера, а потом уже делать анализ медленных запросов и в целом оптимизировать магазин.
Просто для сравнения, магазин на Magento 2 даже не заведется на хостинге. Это уже прошлый век, для лендингов и блогов. Нормальные проекты должны иметь нормальное железо и никаких ограничений -
Оптимизация сервера? Нет, скорее оптимизация модулей и самого движка. У меня всё работало нормально. Товаров было несколько тысяч. Через какое то время я ещё несколько тысяч залил сразу и тут это случилось.

Ну давайте в однобокие споры не вступать. Я говорю как разработчик, поверьте на 100% знаю о чем. Рано или поздно то что у Вас произошло, должно было произойти. Вы конечно можете там что-то подкрутить итд. Но без нормального сервера, проект будет тупить у клиентов, влезать в ограничения по кол-ву запросов, по inode итд.
Вам просто сложно понять, что хостинг за 300-500 рублей и сервер за 750 руб, это разница в плане производительности не сравнимая. Всего-то на 250 руб дороже. Для магазина который работает, это вообще не вопрос денег.
Если это стартап проект, который еще не приносит денег, то даже в этом случае это экономия на спичках. -
