A script is needed for DaVinci Resolve Studio 20 based on Python (there may be solutions based on other programming languages or tools) that automatically extends/loops clips on the timeline in 4K for a specified duration (one hour). The script should analyze frames at the seams using a combination of methods: structural similarity (for example, using the OpenCV and scikit-image libraries), color histogram differences, and keypoint comparisons. For a perfect splice, the script should have a 'smart fill' function: if the frames at the seam differ too much, it automatically takes one frame slightly further along in the video and uses it to create a smooth transition. If the seam cannot be made seamless, the script should alert the user, etc. Then, overlaying sound/song.
This project is being created for continuous video editing as a guy plays the flute. The videos will be generated by artificial intelligence and then the original sound of the performer will be overlaid.
P.s. I understand that the task is probably not described very accurately. In fact, I described in my own words using Shi the task that was set before me. I have a specialist in working with DaVinci Resolve Studio 20 who will be further involved in providing consultations for this project.
