Good day.
I have reviewed the task. Here I see not a "simple stitching script," but a semi-automatic tool for DaVinci Resolve Studio 20, which should solve two separate tasks:
- analyze video fragments and find the best stitching points;
- automatically assemble a long timeline of the required duration with sound.
This can be implemented through a Python script with integration into the DaVinci Resolve API, and for frame analysis, a combination of SSIM, color histogram, and keypoint comparison should be used. If a direct stitch produces a noticeable artifact, the logic should not "blindly stitch," but rather shift the entry/exit point and look for a better option in neighboring frames.
However, a realistic approach is important here: it cannot be honestly promised that AI-generated videos will have perfectly seamless stitching in 100% of cases. Therefore, the right solution for the MVP is to create a tool that:
— automatically selects the best stitches;
— forms a loop to the specified duration;
— alerts about problematic areas where manual checking is needed;
— overlays the required audio track on the final timeline.
This format provides practical results and genuinely saves editing time, and it can be further refined on your test videos together with a DaVinci specialist from your side.
I work with Python, automation, and application scenarios where the focus is not on "beautiful code for its own sake," but on stable working results.
I am ready to implement the MVP, test it on your examples, and bring it to a working state.
