PowerBI Embedded Integration

I need to create a cloud application which will have PowerBI dashboard integrated behind an authentication gateway.

Scope:

    •    Project Overview:

    •    Develop a proof-of-concept (POC) cloud (AWS is our preference) application to host a Power BI dashboard.

    •    Ensure access is restricted to authenticated clients only.

    •    Leverage our existing Power BI Embedded license.

    •    Authentication & Security:

    •    Implement secure user authentication (preferably via Azure Active Directory or equivalent).

    •    Secure client access so that only authorized users can view the dashboard.

    •    Ensure all authentication tokens and credentials are handled securely.

    •    Power BI Embedded Integration:

    •    Embed the Power BI dashboard (to be provided) using Power BI Embedded services.

    •    Utilize the Power BI REST API to generate and manage embed tokens.

    •    Integrate the existing Power BI Embedded license into the solution.

    •    Application Architecture:

    •    Develop a cloud-based web portal that hosts the Power BI dashboard.

    •    Implement a backend service for authentication and embed token generation.

    •    Ensure the solution is scalable and adheres to best practices for security and performance.

    •    User Experience:

    •    Provide a clean, simple UI for client login and dashboard interaction.

    •    Testing & Documentation:

    •    Include end-to-end testing to validate secure access and proper dashboard embedding.

    •    Provide documentation about source code and configuration.
