Pre-Sales Engineer
A business development manager for SOLIDWORKS is required.
Main tasks
Development of the SOLIDWORKS direction and technical sales support
Key responsibilities
- Business development for the distribution of SOLIDWORKS software
- Interaction with the vendor on business development and sales channel issues
- Working with partners: developing existing ones and attracting new ones
- Participating in negotiations with clients and identifying needs
- Conducting presentations and demonstrations
- Selecting technical specifications
- Consulting and providing technical support to partners and clients
- Participating in marketing events
- Conducting training and developing the competencies of partners and the internal team
Candidate requirements
Education and experience
- Higher technical education
- Practical experience with CAD/CAE/PDM/PLM systems (preferably SOLIDWORKS)
- Experience in B2B IT/engineering solutions sales (preferable)
Professional skills
- Understanding of engineering tasks and development/manufacturing processes
- Skills in identifying needs and selecting solutions
- Skills in preparing commercial and technical proposals
- Experience in conducting presentations, demonstrations, and webinars
- Understanding of sales channel operation principles
Personal qualities
- Developed communication and presentation skills
- Ability to structure information and convey complex technical topics
- Self-organization and responsibility
Additional requirements
- Proficiency in English at least at B1 level
- Willingness to learn and undergo certifications
