My name is Vitaliy, and I would like to propose my candidacy for the position of Product / Footwear Designer for the development of footwear and sports accessories.
For the past year, I have specialized in the design of sports and everyday footwear: from conceptual silhouettes to full tech packs that go into production. I have worked with both Ukrainian brands and projects for European and Asian factories (China, Vietnam, Portugal).
The main competencies that match your requirements:
- Development of new silhouettes and modernization of existing models (running, training, lifestyle, basketball, trail, etc.)
- Deep understanding of footwear construction: upper, sole, midsole, insole, hardware, materials, technologies (glue / stitch / strobel / direct injection, etc.)
- Preparation of complete technical packs (tech pack): specifications, size gradings, bill of materials (BOM), cutting diagrams, sewing instructions, quality control checkpoints
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator (main working tool) and Photoshop (renders, moodboard, material processing)
- Experience with 3D (CLO3D / Browzwear / Keyshot / Rhino / Fusion 360) — used for quick visualization and checking construction before physical samples (can provide examples)
Additionally, I can assist with:
- Design of sports accessories (backpacks, bags, gloves, knee pads, etc.)
- Development of clothing for models (as a set with footwear — tops, shorts, leggings, hoodies)
- Generating ideas and concepts for various sports / streetwear (visualization, collection boards, lookbook pages)
