1. General Information about the Project
Project Goal: Creation of an interactive 3D prototype of a tiltrotor with animation of key elements to demonstrate the principles of operation of the aircraft.
Purpose: Visualization of the functionality of the tiltrotor, demonstration of flight modes and mechanical elements.
2. Requirements for the 3D Model
2.1 Geometry and Detailing
- Create a 3D model of the tiltrotor based on the attached diagrams and drawings
- Detailing: medium (sufficient for demonstrating the structure, but optimized for animation)
3. Requirements for Animation
3.1 Animation #1: Takeoff from the Runway (Airplane Mode)
Duration: 10-15 seconds
Sequence:
- The tiltrotor is standing on the runway
- The propellers start to spin (gradual acceleration)
- The aircraft begins to run along the runway
- Lift-off from the ground (angle of attack ~10-15°)
- Climb in airplane mode
Technical Parameters:
- Propeller rotation speed: gradual increase from 0 to maximum RPM
- Movement along the runway: linear acceleration
- Landing gear retraction (optional, if the design allows)
3.2 Animation #2: Vertical Takeoff (Helicopter Mode)
Duration: 10-15 seconds
Sequence:
- The tiltrotor on the ground, propellers in vertical position (if there is a gondola rotation)
- The propellers start to spin
- Smooth vertical climb without a run-up
- Hovering at a height of 5-10 meters
- Optional: transition to horizontal flight (gondola rotation of the rotors)
3.3 Animation #3: Landing
Duration: 10-15 seconds
Options:
- Landing like an airplane: descent, leveling, touch down on the runway, rollout
- Vertical landing: hovering, smooth vertical descent, touch down on the ground
3.4 Animation #4: Opening the Hatch on the Roof
Duration: 3-5 seconds
Sequence:
- The hatch is closed (initial position)
- The opening mechanism is activated
- The hatch opens (sliding, tilting, or combined mechanism)
- The hatch is fully open
- Optional: reverse animation of closing

- Opening speed: smooth, realistic

The estimated completion time is 15–20 days. As practice shows, such projects require numerous approvals, revisions, and clarifications during the work process. Because of this, the actual duration and scope of work may increase by 2–3 times. In this case, the final cost may range from 4000 to 7000 euros, depending on the number and complexity of edits, approvals, and additional tasks. You should at least show some examples regarding the quality of the video, image resolution, etc. — as this also affects the price. It is also important to clarify how many frames per second should be in the final animation.
