Project Description: A website created in Canva needs to be hosted on the WordPress platform. The design must be transferred, hosted on the chosen hosting, and all necessary utilities and plugins must be added for the full functionality of the site. There are a total of five pages and a blog page (which will be maintained manually).
Required Tasks:
Design Transfer:
- Convert the design from Canva to WordPress, preserving all style elements and structure.
- Adapt the design for various devices (mobile, tablets, desktops).
WordPress Installation:
- Install WordPress on the chosen hosting.
- Configure basic WordPress settings (language, date and time settings, permalink structure).
Theme Selection and Configuration:
- Select or create a theme that matches the design from Canva.
- Configure the theme to meet the project's needs, ensuring full functionality.
Adding Necessary Plugins:
- SEO (e.g., Yoast SEO or Rank Math).
- Security (e.g., Wordfence or Sucuri).
- Caching (e.g., W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache).
- Image optimization (e.g., Smush or Imagify).
- Contact forms (e.g., Contact Form 7).
- Backup (e.g., UpdraftPlus).
- Google Analytics and other analytics tools.
Site Optimization:
- Speeding up page loading.
- Optimizing images and code.
- Checking for errors and fixing them.
Testing and Launch:
- Complete testing of the site for functionality and responsiveness.
- Setting up meta tags, titles, and other SEO elements.
- Ensuring the proper functioning of all forms and integrations.
- Launching the site and transferring access to the client.
