However, I developed not clients, but rather automated systems, but I have experience in full-stack development with React.js + TypeScript with a backend in Go or Next.js
I looked at the code base for the client that you mentioned. Good choice, it could be forked and slightly modified to suit your needs, but there is a small catch that could be crucial in your situation. This client works directly with the Telegram API from the browser, and hiding some data in it can only be done formally by removing it from the interface. But the session allows obtaining this data with some effort; it cannot be reliably hidden without almost completely reworking the main logic of this client. You need all API interactions to be done on the server, and the client should only receive data from it. Or at least in WASM in a compiled language, but it's better to move everything to the server. I just want to draw attention to this important point
It would be better to find or write only the chat UI, rather than a full implementation of Telegram with calls to their API
