We are a studio for self-portraits, where clients take their own photographs in a professional setting. Currently, the process of editing and sending photographs looks as follows:
- We start a remote session in Adobe Lightroom for each client, where all taken shots are already uploaded.
- Then we apply presets (editing) to all photographs.
- After that, the photographs are exported.
- The exported photographs are uploaded to WeTransfer.
- Finally, a download link for the photographs is sent to the client.
What needs to be automated:
We want to automate this entire process to reduce processing time and eliminate the possibility of errors:
Photo processing:
- The program should integrate with Adobe Lightroom, automatically applying presets to all uploaded photographs.
Exporting and uploading photographs:
- After applying the presets, the program should automatically export the photographs and upload them to the chosen cloud platform (for example, WeTransfer).
Sending the link to the client:
- After the upload is complete, the program should automatically send the client an email with a unique link to download the photographs.
- It is important that the program eliminates the possibility of human error when sending the link.
Development goal:
Automating this process will reduce the time for processing photographs and minimize errors, ensuring a high level of service for our clients.
