Уже больше года клепаю проекты на nuxt.js, сталкивался с утечкой памяти (хоть это был баг в сторонней библиотеке). Любопытно взглянуть, где у вас течет.
Последний проект который я сделал вытягивает 97 баллов в мобильной версии pagespeed insights. Так что в оптимизации тоже разбираюсь, но тут все может зависеть еще от бэкэнда и качества верстки, так что всему есть свой предел.
