Develop a flexible basket for Opencart
The key task is to make the cart work with subdomains.
The additional task is for the cart to be able to split products during checkout into multiple orders, depending on which supplier the product in the cart comes from.
The store can be either a multi-store or a separate site (DB), but orders need to be processed considering the configured payment and delivery methods.
Subdomains, domains for the browser are different sites, have their own cookies, so sharing the "cart" can be problematic, clearing cookies or sessions between domains.
As an option, make the cart a separate microservice, and all sites will connect to it for data transfer.
Please reach out to those who have worked with Opencart and have experience. The task is not trivial, it can be divided into two:
- implementation of such a cart (order processing)
- implementation of splitting orders into several

Попередньо, це домен і його субдомени.
Можна як мультимагазин, але краще універсально - різні БД. Щоб це на рівні серверу було як підключення по API до головного сайту та передача даних по товарах, і формування "єдиного кошику". Це моя думка, але можна запропонувати будь яку реалізацію.

Ідея з API-сервісом кошика — найправильніша для архітектури з різними БД. Це робить систему масштабованою: кожному піддомену не обов'язково знати про структуру бази іншого, вони просто спілкуються з «центром».
