Development of a sketch, design, and patterns for a set of leather strap accessories

It is necessary to develop a set of leather accessories for further production in small batches and sale.

It is important to obtain not just a beautiful sketch, but a ready technical base for the production of the first prototype.

Set Composition

The following elements need to be designed:

1. Collar — one size

   Circumference: 33–48 cm / 13–18.9 in

2. Wrist cuffs — one size

   Circumference: 14–28 cm / 5.5–11 in

3. Ankle cuffs — one size

   Circumference: 17–32 cm / 6.7–12.6 in

4. Thigh cuffs — one size

   Circumference: 40–68 cm / 15.7–26.8 in

5. Waist belt — 3 sizes

   • XS–M: 60–75 cm / 23.6–29.5 in

   • M–XL: 75–95 cm / 29.5–37.4 in

   • XL–XXL: 95–115 cm / 37.4–45.3 in

6. Connecting straps / modular connectors

   It is necessary to provide straps or connecting elements to combine the components of the set with each other.

What Needs to Be Developed

1. Conceptual Sketch

A clean technical sketch of the set is needed:

• overall view

• each element separately

• front / side view, if necessary

• locations of buckles, rings, carabiners, connections

• logic of modular assembly of the set

2. Technical Design

It is necessary to consider:

• width of each strap

• thickness of the material

• length of each component

• working range of adjustment

• location of holes

• distance between holes

• central hole

• strap excess after fastening

• locations for hardware installation

• method of attaching rings / buckles / carabiners / rivets

3. Patterns

Ready patterns are needed for:

• collar

• wrist cuffs

• ankle cuffs

• thigh cuffs

• waist belt for 3 sizes

• all connecting straps

• additional small components, if needed

The preferred format for patterns is:

• PDF 1:1

• AI / DXF / SVG, if possible

• all components separately labeled

4. Hardware Specification

It is necessary to specify:

• type of buckles

• type of rings

• inner diameter of rings

• type of carabiners

• quantity of hardware for each product

• recommended width of hardware for straps

• type of rivets / eyelets / fasteners

5. Assembly Technology

A short diagram is needed:

• which components are cut

• in what order they are assembled

• where holes are punched

• where hardware is installed

• where rivets are placed

• what is glued / what is sewn

• recommendations for the first prototype

Materials:

• natural leather or quality substitute

• metal hardware

• preferably consider the option of black leather + gold or silver hardware

Important:

• products should look neat and balanced

• the design must be feasible for production
