I was very interested in your project — this is exactly the case where the logo should not just identify, but be part of the narrative.
My vision for the approach:
I would not go through "cyberpunk as a style," but through the feeling of a broken system and internal conflict.
The logo could look like something between a stable form and its destruction.
Idea:
— base: restrained, almost "quiet" typography
— on top of it: broken elements (glitch, shifts, tears)
— slight asymmetry that creates a sense of instability
… — "noise" and textures as a hint at the degradation of reality
Possible direction:
a logo that looks normal at first glance, but upon closer inspection "crumbles" — as if the system is not holding together.

to make it work as:
— a clean sign (for Steam capsule)

I was very responsive to your description — this is exactly the case where the logo should not just look good, but also feel right.

I would not go for "typical cyberpunk." On the contrary — I would create something more restrained, a bit "broken," and with internal tension. So that it looks like part of a system that has already failed but is still functioning.

Regarding the approach:
I focus on custom typography — I do not use a ready-made font, but adjust the form to fit the meaning. I add slight asymmetry, small shifts, sometimes even a bit of "uncomfortable" readability — to maintain intrigue. I use glitch very cautiously, more as a hint rather than an effect for the sake of effect.

… In terms of mood, I want to land somewhere between cold systematism and something very human — like in Nier or Signalis, where technology and experience intertwine.

I can use AI in the idea generation stage, but the final result will be done manually, in vector.

I can create several different directions to choose from, and immediately think about how it will look on Steam, on covers, and in motion.
