A professional vector logo in SVG format needs to be developed based on the attached PNG image.
Who we are
LDUFK — Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture.
Full English name:
Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture
The university was founded in 1946. The main symbols of the identity are:
- the Ukrainian trident;
- a lion as a symbol of Lviv;
- a book with the founding year — 1946;
- a stylized city gate or fortress;
- the university shield;
- blue and gold color scheme.
The logo will also be used in the LDUFK CS2 League project — a school and university esports league in Ukraine.
Main task
It is necessary not just to automatically convert the PNG to vector, but to rethink the emblem and create a clean minimalist sign.
The current image is too detailed, voluminous, and has many decorative elements. The new version should look good:
- on the website;
- in broadcasts;
- on social media;
- on uniforms;
- on banners;
- in small sizes;
- as a profile icon;
- on merchandise and printed materials.
Desired style
A modern sports or esports style is needed:
- minimalism;
- clear geometry;
- straight lines;
- well-balanced silhouette;
- no 3D effects;
- no gradients;
- no shadows;
- no small decorative elements;
- no excessive detailing.
The main version should be monochrome:
- completely white for a dark background;
- completely black for a light background.
An additional branded blue and gold version can be prepared.
Which elements should be preserved
It is not necessary to transfer absolutely all details. It is important to maintain the recognizability of LDUFK through 2–4 main symbols:
- Lion — the central symbol.
- Shield or coat of arms shape.
- Trident at the top.
- 1946 or a book — only if it does not overload the sign.
- The letters LDUFK can be integrated concisely.
Grapes, numerous ribbons, voluminous frames, and long inscriptions can be removed or significantly simplified.
Options to be seen
It is preferable to propose 2–3 concepts:
Option 1 — minimalist coat of arms
A simplified shield with a lion and trident. Closest to traditional university symbolism.
Option 2 — modern sports sign
A more aggressive and dynamic lion, adapted for sports and esports. Can be used together with the inscription LDUFK.
Option 3 — monogram
A compact sign based on the letters LDUFK, delicately integrating a lion, trident, or shield shape.
The logo should remain serious and representative, not looking like a random logo of an amateur esports team.

It is necessary to prepare:
- the main sign without text;
- a sign with the inscription LDUFK;
- a horizontal version;
- a vertical version;
- a white version;
- a black version;
- a blue and gold version;
- a simplified icon for avatar and favicon.
Technical requirements
Final files:
- SVG;
- AI or EPS;
- PDF;
- PNG with a transparent background in high resolution.
Important:
- all elements must be created in vector;
- text converted to curves;
- do not use embedded raster images;
- the logo must scale without loss of quality;
- commercial use rights are required;
- all source files must be transferred to the client.
Main goal
Create a sign that simultaneously:
- preserves the history and recognizability of the university;
- looks modern;
- is suitable for sports and esports;
- works well in both white and black colors;
- remains readable even in very small sizes.
The attached PNG image is used as a reference for symbols and overall structure, but the final logo should not be a detailed copy of it.
