Why Magento 2:
Farnell API Integration: I will develop a custom module that maps data from the API into the Magento structure.
Hybrid synchronization:
— Basic: Cron tasks at night update prices/stock in bulk.
— Real-time: When opening a product card, the module "pulls" the Farnell API (Live Check) to show the customer the exact price and availability, caching the response for 15-30 minutes (to avoid exceeding request limits).
Technical filters: I will use Layered Navigation from Magento for filtering by thousands of parameters.
Caching: I will configure Varnish + Redis to ensure the store runs smoothly even with a million-item assortment.
