I want to create a website with minimal functionality. Initially, it will be a single page. In the future, there may be others, but the functionality will remain the same.
What functionality am I talking about: it is essentially a roulette. But not a classic one. In this roulette, there will be a set of different products (with links to purchase pages on another site) and a "generate" or "spin" button.
The essence is that a person who visits the site just clicks the button, and this "roulette" randomly selects any product from the list that will be added to the database (the database also needs to be easy to edit, as I will manually be constantly adding and removing products). It is also possible to add a "spinning" effect to the roulette and after 2-3 seconds, display the result (in the form of a product and a link to it).
Main points:
- If this will be a plugin, then with a one-time payment, so that there is no need to renew it with a new payment, say after a year. If it will be custom code, then it should be as simple and understandable as possible, and not heavily load the site or break it.
- The page will have the following elements: page title (H1), after that - the roulette, below it (or next to it) - the button to start the roulette, below them - a small block of text. This is to help you understand the complexity of the entire task.
- Minimum elements that burden the page load. The site and page must be fast.
- Links to products can be displayed either next to it or simply by clicking on the product image.
- The roulette window (where the product will be displayed) must contain: Product name, its photo, link to the product. I will manually enter all this data in the admin panel, so there must be appropriate functionality. The size of the window is approximately 650x650 px. It would be great if its size could be changed in the same admin panel.
- And of course - adaptation for mobile devices.
Please provide an estimate of the real cost of such work. Please, do not bluff, as this is not my first time creating a website and ordering similar services. Only real offers and timelines.
