Javascript and Typescript, Web Programming — incorrectly specified categories?

Overview

We need to rebuild an existing web-based screenplay editor.
The original source code was lost, and the editor currently exists only as a working demo.

This project is about reproducing the current editor, not creating a new product.

Goal

Recreate the existing editor as closely as reasonably possible, preserving:

User workflow
Editor behavior
Auto-formatting logic

The demo should be treated as a functional reference (http://anton-demo.many-tools.online/)

Scope (MVP)

Included:

Script editor (screenplay format)
Navigator / scene list
Auto-formatting while typing (Enter / Tab / block switching)
Export to DOCX and PDF

Not included:

Authentication
Collaboration
New features or UX redesign
Advanced project management modules
Backend (unless technically required)

Important Clarification

This is not a redesign
Missing features in the demo must not be added
Existing bugs or clearly unintended behaviors do not need to be replicated
Minor deviations are acceptable only for bug fixing or technical feasibility
Any changes beyond that must be discussed and approved in advance

The intention is to preserve the existing user experience, not to recreate known flaws or invent new functionality.

I have experience working with complex frontend interfaces and custom logic for editors: input control, automatic formatting, navigation between blocks, and reproducing behavior based on a reference without redesign and "improvements."

Technical approach: detailed analysis of the demonstration as a functional specification, step-by-step reproduction of behavior (editor core → formatting → navigation → export), focusing on the editor's own logic and clean code structure. Implementation is frontend-oriented, without unnecessary modules.

I am ready to discuss the details of the demonstration and agree on the boundaries of acceptable deviations before starting.
