Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team to build and drive our new project which is related to luxury brands. 

This position is only available for residents of the UK or USA.

Tasks: 

• Work as part of a full stack engineering team to develop solutions to ensure optimal experiences for our customers, assistants, and brand partners; 

• Utilise a variety of frontend technologies to build scalable products; 

• Lead the development of our frontend applications (React), setting technical direction to ensure that our modern tech stack continues to take advantage of the latest developments in front end technology; 

• Gather requirements and scope out projects with the wider team 

Key Requirements: 

• Pride in readable, well-designed, well-tested software; 

• 3 or more years professional experience writing front-end web-based applications in Javascript, and a willingness to quickly get up to speed on our stack (Ruby/Rails, React utilising TypeScript, Heroku and AWS); 

• Experience with TDD and CI environments (RSpec for Ruby, Jest & Enzyme for TS, CircleCI for CI); 

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and key-value stores (Memcache, Redis); 

• Ability to multitask, organise, and prioritise work 

Nice to haves: 

• Experience with web architecture at scale(AWS, GCP, Heroku); 

• Experience at a high growth startup; 

• Javascript/React performance tuning
