At the moment on the site is implemented a system of canonical pages - after 24 hours after the end of the match canonical becomes the next match of two specific teams (if such is in the schedule). The page of the old match remains on the ID page. The example is https://sportwars.net/ru/match/getafe-vs-deportivo-alaves-1894967.
This system worked well on the previous projects of such a plan, so I’t want to change it.
