AI assistant - lawyerAI, for providing legal assistance to users
Hello,
we need to create an AI assistant - lawyerAI, to provide legal assistance to users, consultations on jurisprudence, and generation of legal documents.
The assistant should be well-versed in the legislation of Ukraine, know the Constitution of Ukraine, laws and subordinate acts, as well as other regulatory legal documents, legislative acts, be able to draft legal documents (claims, applications, etc.), be able to find necessary information on the internet, answer users' legal questions without errors, referring to the relevant norms of legislation.
The solution should work based on a Telegram bot, with the script written in Python.
Currently, there are several attempts to deploy a similar solution independently, with a working version of both the consultative and generative parts. The problem of legal hallucinations remains open (the bot misinterprets articles of the legislation of Ukraine, refers to incorrect legislative acts, quotes texts that do not correspond to the specified articles, makes mistakes).
Therefore, the primary task is to set up interaction through the API with the VRU portal, create a local knowledge base, and implement a mechanism for verifying answers.
The Python script should load all available data from rada.gov.ua in full, not just the headers.
- The script should have an auto-update function for the knowledge base every X hours.
- The script should deploy its own API for external access to the database.
We are specifically interested in:
1. An exhaustive list of artifacts (documents, materials, resources) that must be included in the knowledge base: - Constitution of Ukraine; - Codes (Civil, Criminal, Economic, Tax, Labor, Administrative, and others); - Laws of Ukraine (current editions, history of changes, comments); - Resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; - Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine; - Decrees of the President of Ukraine; - Regulatory legal acts of ministries and departments; - Judicial practice: - Resolutions of the Supreme Court of Ukraine; - Decisions of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine; - Resolutions of appellate and first instance courts; - European Court of Human Rights (cases against Ukraine); - International treaties, conventions, and agreements ratified by Ukraine; - Clarifications from state bodies (tax, customs, other regulators); - Professional legal comments and scientific publications; - Standard contracts, document samples, templates, and forms of legal documents. Good afternoon. The task is quite complex, as legal documents are poorly handled by models due to many dependencies (links) from other documents. Because of this, a large context needs to be provided, often in several iterations.
Most likely, you will need to use a combination of RAG and MCP (look up what that is). And of course, do not take data via API but use a vector database for matching and then retrieve the document via API.
The second option is to create a model tailored to your needs with training. But this is even more complicated; fitting all legislation into AI will be time-consuming.
The real cost is 5-10 thousand, of course not in hryvnias.
