I'm working on a children's book and am currently looking for an illustrator who draws in the style of classic European children's books from the 1960s-1970s — in the spirit of Beatrix Potter.
It is very important to me that these are lively drawings, done by hand — watercolor, pencil, or another traditional technique. Not digital graphics.
I'm looking for a vintage, warm, atmospheric style, like in old illustrated fairy tales.

I work professionally in traditional watercolor. I like the cute vintage style like Beatrix Potter and am ready to work in a similar style on your children's book. I do not use digital tools.
I create sketches with pencil on paper, submit them for approval, and then execute them in the flow considering verbal wishes. I scan the finished work and, if necessary, make color corrections for tone or warmth/coolness.

I want to say that illustrations in traditional execution will be significantly more expensive than your budget, as they will require expensive materials, paper, and paints. Hand-drawn digital illustration can look just as good, have stunning color transitions, and convey the necessary warm and vintage feel.
