Assessment of the possibility of using the company's production base for the manufacture of a silo for storing grain.
Consultation, during which it will be necessary to perform calculations of the metal structure with a shell. Currently without a foundation slab.
Knowledge of the device of a grain storage silo is required.
Initial data (our production capabilities)
We produce folded panels from steel 0.5, 0.7 preferably, and 1.0 mm, or aluminum 0.8 mm, which can be bent into a ring with a diameter from about 4 meters minimum and larger. Maximum 7 meters, but this parameter is not from technical capabilities but from observing proposals from silo manufacturers.

Width for steel is preferably 550 mm, and 342 mm and 238 mm are possible.
Width for aluminum is preferably 425 mm, and 259 mm is possible.
Panels are inserted into each other and the seam is clamped with a special machine, similar to a seam on a tin can.

Nominal load on the clamp is 1700N.
And thus, the membrane with stiffening ribs (flares) is attached to the supporting structure. The structure is located on the inner surface, opposite the flares.
Outside, the flare can be attached using such clamps (if not to violate hermeticity)

or sigma profile with a flange width of at least 5 cm for attaching clamps.
Post height up to 6 m optionally up to 12 m. Profile thickness preferably up to 1.5 mm.
Optimal spacing and cross-section of posts need to be determined. But also the rest of the structure, because as I understand, only posts around the circumference will be insufficient.

Questions about the silo design and equipment.
Is it possible to place posts (and the rest of the supporting structure) inside the silo?
I see only ladders and a hatch at the top as additional equipment. What else do I not see? What needs to be considered? For example, I see a pipe in the center on internet silo drawings, what is it for?
Preliminary task.
1. Construction of a 100-ton silo. Cylinder wall height about 6 m. Without detailing for now. Shell parameters for steel. Frame parameters sufficient to calculate its cost.
2. Determine the maximum capacity of the silo available to us.
3. Cost of a detailed project of a 100-ton silo and any other, for which we will receive an order for manufacturing in the future (compliance with EU standards)
