If the beginning is laid in Google Sheets, why not continue there, organizing the process:
- normalize the data
- organize the business process itself
- if necessary, we can use Apps Script and other Google applications
In my portfolio, there is a working project in Excel (VBA). Stock trading accounting, it included:
- database of main cryptocurrencies / fiat articles
- developed master contract builder
- macro with a calculation mechanism for all transactions
- macro for generating a payment statement for all trading participants
and many others.
In this project, I was a direct participant in calculations and automation for 5 years.
Automation largely depends on the specific form of interaction in achieving the end result and further support.
Nevertheless, I prefer to automate the process specifically in Google Apps Script using various techniques to speed up script execution.
