Script for the Click & Collect function on the Check Out page (Webflow)
This is a confectionery website. On the Check Out page, there should be payment + the ability to choose the date and time for self-pickup. The schedule is regular, but it should allow for changes by the client on certain days (holidays, weekends...)
The first idea that came to my mind:
Database #1 - Mon-Fri (regular schedule)
Database #2 - hours
In DB #1, we set the regular schedule (Mon-Fri), link the hours from DB #2
Database #3 - here days will be added as needed, where the schedule will differ from what is in DB #1
So the essence is:
1) A person on the checkout page selects a day (date picker, only working days should be available for selection)
2) Below there is a dropdown to select the hour. The script checks if there are special working hours entered for this specific day (if a record is created in DB #3)
2.a) If such a record exists, it inserts the hours from DB #3
2.b) If there is no such record (meaning it's a day with a regular schedule), it inserts the hours from DB #1
