I am a C++/Qt developer with extensive experience in Linux administration. Raspberry Pi is essentially a Linux computer, so my experience in developing desktop applications is perfectly suited here.
How I will implement this:
Interface (GUI): I will develop the application in Qt (C++). This is the "gold standard" for embedded screens. It works quickly, reliably, and looks professional.
Kiosk Mode: I will configure systemd services in Linux so that your application starts instantly at boot, hiding the OS loading. The user will only see the smoker menu.
Cloud: I will implement data transmission (status, temperature) to the server via REST API or MQTT.
Regarding your questions:
Design: I can create a clean and functional interface on my own. If complex graphics are needed, I work alongside a professional UI/UX designer (this is included in the cost).
