Creation of a sound mixer for macOS
Create a fully functional product for macOS that allows intercepting audio streams from applications, applying individual volume control (including mute), and mixing sound for output to a physical device.
Required skills and candidate requirements
- Experience in development with C/C++/Objective‑C, especially in system programming on macOS.
- Understanding of Core Audio, Audio Server Driver Plug‑In API (or Core Audio HAL).
- Experience with XPC services and inter-process communication.
- Knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI for user interface development.
- Experience with code signing, configuring entitlements, building, and installing drivers on macOS.
- Experience in real-time audio optimization and working with audio buffers.
