There are 2 movies, with different ticket prices and different showtimes, and the ability to choose a ticket for the desired movie is needed. Also, there should be an option to purchase a bundle package (for both movies at once) at a discount.
This solution should be attached to the website (basic site on WP + online store on Shopify).
1. Short film - showings throughout the day, every 30 minutes from 10:00 to 19:30 daily, specifying the time and choice of session is not needed - the ticket is valid for any session.
2. Main film - showings twice a day (afternoon at 14:00) and evening (20:00), daily. Here, an option for selection is needed: day, time.
Ideally, I also need to track (availability of seats for the main film, since I have a hall for 25 seats, and tickets will be purchased both offline and online)
A full-fledged ticket sales functionality is needed:
- selection of event, date, session
- payment by modern convenient online methods (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.)
- sending a PDF ticket (with a unique QR code) to the client (with the ability to scan it at the box office)
This can be a ready module for WP or Shopify, or a service that can be attached and refined.
But it should work universally, with the ability to purchase tickets in European countries.

Interesting task. Considering that you already have Shopify, I recommend implementing the functionality through the Shopify ecosystem. This will automatically address issues with ApplePay/GooglePay and taxes in Europe.
My solution:
- Integration: Use a ticketing app (for example, Evey Events or Event Ticketing for Shopify). It generates a PDF with a QR code and sends it to the email.
- Ticket logic:
- Short film: Create as a product with an open date (Open ticket).
- Main film: Set up a calendar with slot selection (14:00 / 20:00). Set inventory limit (Stock) = 25 units for each slot. When purchased, the seat is deducted.
… - Bundle: Implement through Shopify Bundles or discount logic (discount when adding two products).
- Control (Validation): These apps have free mobile scanners for staff. The cashier simply scans the QR code from the customer's phone — the system shows "Valid" or "Used."
- Synchronization with offline: To avoid overselling, the box office on-site should either use Shopify POS (ideal option), or you manually block part of the seats before the show.
