Stage 1 — Demo / proof-of-model

Nikita has proven himself to be a strong specialist in optimization and modeling:

- correctly implemented the MILP model (Pyomo) considering constraints (SOC, power limits, connection constraints);

- skillfully divided energy flows (PV → load → BESS → export → curtailment);

- implemented the calculation of curtailment and its cost (lost value);

- added battery degradation and a basic financial block (savings → FCF → NPV/IRR/Payback);

- conducted sanity checks and sensitivity analysis on BESS configurations.

I would like to highlight his willingness to refine the model during discussions:

- added a comparison with the baseline (pure grid, PV-only, PV+BESS);

- created a transparent structure for the results;

- promptly made adjustments and provided detailed explanations of the model's logic.

Communication was constructive; Nikita explains solutions in detail and justifies the model's behavior (including complex issues such as dispatch under different tariffs).

Stage 1 is closed as proof-of-model: the model accurately reflects the optimization logic and can serve as a basis for further work with real data.

I recommend him as a specialist in optimization and energy modeling tasks.

I am completely satisfied with the collaboration with Inna. The client quickly got in touch, promptly reserved payment through Safe, provided all necessary materials, and carefully reviewed the results.

The project was technically complex — a MILP model for PV/BESS, dispatch, energy flows, curtailment, financial summary, sanity checks — so it was especially important that the client provided not just a formal acceptance of the work, but quality technical feedback on the substance. All clarifications were constructive, without chaos and without "do everything again just in case."
