Your goal is to conceive, design, iterate, implement, and analyze an original game level using Unreal Engine.
The main focus is on creating and thoroughly documenting a functional level using Unreal Engine tools and your own interaction scripts in Blueprints. You are not required to develop your own art and audio; you will not receive compensation for creating these resources. Instead, you must use resources from open sources, provided that you give a clear reference to the source of these resources.
AT A MINIMUM, in your work you must demonstrate the following:
- Triggers
- Scripting / Custom Logic
- Events / Custom Events
- Variables / Arrays
- Flow Control / Loops
- Functions
- Basic animation / movements in the scene
- Collectible / destroyable / movable objects
- Implementation of a basic, functioning user interface (UI)
- Implementation of basic (potentially downloaded from the internet) artistic and audio resources in the level. (Models, audio)
You must use the provided template (.PDF) to clearly demonstrate all of the above, as well as any additional scripting and engine work you have done.
Your project must include blueprints, and you are responsible for showing these blueprints (for example, through a screenshot) and providing context (explaining what these blueprints consist of, what they do) in the provided template.
