We are looking for a specialist who can create a marketplace like 3dsky, cgmood, or greatcatalog. In the future, there will be a need to develop websites for servicing a pharmacy and a large restaurant in various countries of the European Union, technical support, and improvement of these websites - so it is important for us to find and choose a reliable contractor.
What needs to be done: frontend (according to the provided design) and backend on Python and Django (we are ready to hear your suggestions).
The idea is that the site will interact with more than a hundred thousand models, the minimum size of one is 50 MB, so it is important for the contractor to understand such things as API, and to suggest a server for data storage.
Our marketplace will be simpler than the examples given (there will be only a few sections), but the most important functions for us are product filtering (the category structure is almost ready, the design is also - almost ready), search capability by keywords, commission from sales, etc. - that is, everything as in the examples provided.
We do not have previous experience in this area, but we already have an almost ready design in Figma 🙂
